Tenure Track Special and Early Childhood Education

The Bucknell University Department of Education seeks applications for a Tenure Track position, to begin August 2018. Candidates are expected to have a Ph.D. or ABD in Special Education with a background in Early Childhood Education and supervision experience by August 2018. Although we are seeking an assistant professor, we will consider other exceptional candidates at higher ranks as well. A record of excellent teaching and supervision experience at the university level is preferred. Primary teaching responsibilities include courses relating to the field of special education, early childhood education, inclusive practices, classroom assessment, quantitative research methods, and student teacher supervision. The successful candidate is expected to produce strong scholarship in the field of special education and early childhood, or related fields. We seek a teacher-scholar with a demonstrated ability to successfully work with a diverse student body and one who is committed to integrating diversity and equity issues into the curriculum.
