Warehouse Worker- Southgate

Position Summary:
Provides a full range of warehouse functions including receiving, shipping, filling requisitions, issuing, ordering, inventorying, and storing products, supplies and equipment. Inspects and verifies all shipping and receiving documents and requisitions for discrepancies. Provides pick-up and delivery services.

Required Qualifications:
Previous experience in and knowledge of a stockroom and warehouse, shipping and receiving, and inventory procedures preferred. Experience making deliveries, loading and unloading product in a safe manner. Knowledge of storage/ handling techniques and safety regulations. Ability to obtain certification in operating equipment, such as forklifts, palletjacks, and handtrucks. Experience with inventory reports and spreadsheets, requisitions, invoices, and shipping logs. Knowledge of food service production, ServSafe and HACCP guidelines/procedures, and OSHA regulations applying to warehouse and food service industry. Demonstrated ability to read, write legibly, weigh, measure, and perform routine mathematical calculations. High school graduation or equivalent. Ability to communicate, work in a team environment, work quickly and efficiently. Ability to lift, handle, and transport up to 100 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications:
OSHA certified to operate powered industrial trucks including forklifts and pallet jacks. "Serve Safe" and HACCP certified. Previous commercial truck driving experience preferred.
