Program Manager

Position Summary:
The Department of Human Development and Family Science invites applications for a Program Manager position at the rank of Senior Project Associate. The Program Manager is responsible for oversight of program operations in Virginia and Maryland for the department's federally funded grant titled " TOGETHER : A Couple's Model to Enhance Relationships and Economic Stability." Tasks include the (a) liaison between principal investigators and community agencies; (b) coordination with community partners of meetings, trainings, schedules of TOGETHER program, booster sessions, and financial literacy workshops, and reports; coordination of assessment activities between community agencies and program evaluators; (d) oversight of operations of all project activities; (e) administrative support to community partners for their activities; (f) ensuring that university and federal policies and guidelines are observed; (g) oversight, accounting, and reporting of grant expenses and payments; (h) anticipation of needs of the grant and development of recommendations for filling those needs; (i) contribution to federal and scientific reports and presentations; (j) direct supervision of graduate assistants; (k) coordination and preparation of advertising and marketing; (l) coordination of advertising, recruitment, and retention plan; (m) oversight of participant tracking system; (l) responding to complaints and suggestions from participants and staff; (n) weekly updates to PIs about key aspects of the project (e.g., adherence to timeline, cases of domestic violence, etc.); (o) supervision of Quality Assurance and Operations Coordinators; (p) attending all required trainings and ACF sponsored workshops/conferences/grantee orientation/roundtables; and (q) the direct oversight of three subcontractors in VA (Skillsource Group, Inc., The Women's Center' MacroSys).

-Doctorate/terminal master's degree in social sciences (human development, psychology, family studies), business, or other related disciplines
