Position Summary
General duties: Assists with the administration of international research projects in accordance with applicable federal, state, local, and university policies; manage university procedures and regulations, in support of a large research group of FSG faculty, staff, and graduate students. Specific duties: Process all International/domestic travel including authorizations, notifications to sponsoring organizations, and reimbursements; Assist with overseas cost of living allowances for MSU employees living abroad; prepare non-travel reimbursements and vendor payments for goods and services; prepares and manages time keeping and impute for hourly students,on-call, and temporary employees; and supports the FSG Web site and dissemination of FSG outputs.

Unit Specific Education/Experience/Skills
Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired in the first two or three years in college, technical school or a related field; one to three years of progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in departmental operations, employment, international business, or in performing tasks related to travel expense processing; experience in editing, composing correspondence, and maintaining spreadsheets and/or databases; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Desired Qualifications
Experience with MSU policies and procedures, especially international travel; Web site maintenance; and experience with bookkeeping or accounting; excellent written and oral communications skills.
