Middle Tennessee State University Dissertation Fellowship

The MTSU Dissertation Fellowship Program enhances institutional diversity in research, teaching, and service by recruiting underrepresented minority graduate students who are completing their dissertations. Hosted by a department in their discipline, fellows teach one course each semester in a subject related to their research and devote significant time to completing the dissertation. Successful candidates receive temporary faculty appointments (August 1 - July 31) and are eligible for benefits, including health insurance. These appointments are not on the tenure track. Salary is $30,000 plus support for research, professional travel, and other related expenses. Fellows must be eligible for employment.

Must be at the writing stage of doctoral program in a field taught at MTSU .
