IT Operations Coordinator

Position Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Information Technology, the IT Operations Coordinator will assist in many activities within the Pamplin Office of Information Technology. This position will assist in many core services offered by the office. The individual will provide administrative support to the Director of IT in areas such as Fixed Assets, communications orders, and will take ownership of day-to-day A/V operations of the Pamplin College of Business while working collaboratively with the staff to achieve the organization's goals.
The position duties may be variable and therefore, the position requires flexibility and adaptability to new work requirements. Additional duties will depend on interest and skill level and may vary from testing internal business systems, documentations, and help desk support. The successful candidate will foster a positive working environment.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a related feld or equivalent level of training and or experience
• Demonstrated experience with audio visual equipment and/or video teleconferencing for both event and classroom environments
• Expertise in Microsoft Office
• Experience with in Adobe Creative Cloud tools, specifically basic photo and video editing
• Ability to work professionally and courteously in a stressful, busy environment
• Ability to operate independently and without supervision and with assigned teams to accomplish organizational goals and objectives is essential
• Ability to plan and allocate resources for various simultaneous tasks and deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in a IT helpdesk environment actively supporting end users
• Experience with Banner data processing system (finance and/or fixed assets) and Hokiemart
• Knowledge of teleconferencing services and functionality
