Senior Marketing Analyst

Reporting to the Assistant Vice President for Distance Learning Planning and Development (P&D) and working collaboratively with the P&D Decision Analytics team, this position is responsible for developing and implementing scalable systems to collect, measure, and analyze the effectiveness of website and digital marketing strategies for ODUOnline. This position is also responsible for supporting the funnel conversion analysis to inform processes and overall conversions.

Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in a related field of study (such as computer science or business) or bachelor's degree in a related field with experience equivalent to a master's degree. Considerable experience with relevant web analytics, digital marketing, or campaign measurement experience. Working experience implementing, reporting and troubleshooting in Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. Considerable experience working with online web, media & creative measurement experience across other digital marketing platforms such as AdWords, DoubleClick, etc. Some experience with data integration across multiple data platforms such as: web analytics, digital marketing reporting platforms, and CRM data. Considerable knowledge of the practices and procedures in developing and implementing scalable systems to measure the effectiveness of digital strategies. Excellent skill in collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing online and offline advertising performance metrics. Demonstrated ability for taking the initiative to research current methodologies and best practices that result in maximizing website and digital marketing analytics, tracking and reporting. Excellent skill in designing and implementing A/B testing scenarios and reporting for content, landing pages, creative testing, etc. Ability to work with senior management to interpret, present and discuss research findings/reports in a clear, concise and actionable way. Strong and accurate written and verbal communication skills. Excellent analytics, quantitative and problem solving skills with proven ability to deliver actionable insights.

Preferred Qualifications
Google Analytics certification. Experience reading API documentation and understanding technical requirements for implementation with other platforms. Able to read and/or write basic HTML , HTML5, CSS , JavaScript and other front-end languages (Python, NodeJS, PHP , etc.) and query large databases ( SQL , SAS ).
