Assistant Professor of Psychology

Lander University invites applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Psychology to begin in August 2018. The area of specialty is open but preference will be given to candidates with an applied focus and those who do not duplicate existing departmental strengths in social and developmental psychology. The successful applicant will be able to teach Introduction to General Psychology as well as courses in Research Methodology and Statistics. Candidates with a Ph.D. by August 2018 are preferred but ABD candidates will be considered. The successful candidate will be expected to teach 12 hours per semester, advise majors, participate in departmental and university service, develop and maintain an active scholarly research agenda, and supervise student research.
