Position Description:

Manages staff development efforts in the area of child and youth services at multiple colleges and universities; provides oversight of recruiting and screening of applicants for the Camp Adventure program; supervises early childhood and school age programs in the U.S. and/or overseas; develops program curriculum; trains Program Directors and Project Coordinators; and supervises special events, including logistical support, program materials and volunteer management.

Work will be performed at our staff development site located at Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, FL.

This position is eligible for overtime.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in leisure, youth and human services, education or related field required.

Required Qualifications:

At least two years of child and youth services program experience; experience with field supervision, training and staff development; and experience in recruitment and screening of applicants on a large scale required. Student experience will be considered.

Desirable Qualifications:

Master's degree in Leisure, Youth, and Human Services, Educational Administration, or related field preferred. Experience with curriculum design; event planning experience; experience supervising military child and youth services; and familiarity with Camp Adventure programs and services preferred.
