OLD DOMINION UNIVERSITY , DEPARTMENT OF ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY invites applications for full-time faculty position in its Electrical Engineering Technology Program. The position is at the level of Assistant Professor, tenure-track. The position will commence in the fall of 2018 or as soon as suitable candidate is identified. The successful candidate will be expected to teach and develop undergraduate courses in the areas of electrical circuits, linear/digital electronic circuits and systems, electrical machines, conventional power systems and marine electrical systems. The successful candidate will also be expected to engage industry and professional organizations, and perform department and university service. Additional expectations for tenure-track Assistant Professor are the development of a research program supported by external funding and scholarly activity.

A Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or closely related field is required by the expected date of hire. For all candidates some industrial experience is required.
