Director of Digital Marketing

Reporting to the Assistant Vice President for Distance Learning Planning and Development (P&D), this position is responsible for leading the organization's digital marketing strategy, planning, and implementation in accordance with the strategic goals of the Office of Distance Learning and the University's enrollment management strategies. In support of enrollment growth objectives, this position will concentrate on lead acquisition strategies, in the Commonwealth, nationally, and internationally.

Minimum Qualifications
Advanced degree or equivalent required in marketing, business, or related fields. Strong knowledge of current digital marketing concepts, strategies and best practices. Experience managing various campaign channels, display, organic and search to accomplish defined goals. Experience in SEO , PPC , e-mail marketing, website development and social media. Experience negotiating and interpreting terms of various vendors for media buys. Experience evaluating potential arrangements and/or new tools/techniques and negotiating the terms of proposed opportunities. Previous experience in a similar role. Strong persuasive and accurate written and verbal communication skills. Ability to extract value from data reporting/tools. Willingness to try new things, take chances, test new ideas. Professional, energetic, positive attitude, self-motivated, resourceful, and persistent. Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate a broad range of information to diverse audiences. Ability to work collaboratively with staff and partners; strong team player. Demonstrated organizational skills, an ability to meet deadlines, and an ability to solve problems.

Preferred Qualifications
Related higher education experience.
