Central Connecticut State University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position in the Computer Science (CS) Department beginning August 2018. Responsibilities include teaching a wide variety of undergraduate and graduate computer science courses for majors and non-majors, serving on departmental and university committees, advising students, and conducting scholarly research. Candidates are expected to be committed to multiculturalism and working with a diverse student body.
Required Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in computer science by the time of appointment
- Teaching experience at undergraduate and/or graduate level
- Publication record commensurate with experience
- Evidence of effective communication skills
- Commitment to serving culturally, ethnically and linguistically diverse communities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expertise in software engineering and/or computer security.
