Standing Faculty: Clinician Educator

In partnership with the Perelman School of Medicine, the School of Nursing has an exciting opportunity for a Clinician-Educator position blending clinical and research expertise and leadership in an interdisciplinary research center (http://www.itmat.upenn.edu ). The Institute for Translational Medicine and Therapeutics ( ITMAT ) at the Perelman School of Medicine supports research at the interface of basic and clinical research focusing on developing new and safer medicines. ITMAT includes faculty, basic research space, and the Center for Human Phenomic Science ( CHPS ).
We are seeking a candidate with a proven record in research leadership with an interdisciplinary team or center for a senior Standing Faculty Clinician-Educator position. The practice component will be defined by engagement in the research endeavor, identification of research projects, development of education programs, and nursing research leadership in the Center. The candidate will also hold a research portfolio focused on precision science and be committed to working in an emerging interdisciplinary, health system research center that probes the mechanisms of disease, drug action and human physiology.
We invite PhD prepared individuals to apply to the standing faculty (clinician-educator) at the senior rank. Postdoctoral training or academic experience is expected. Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
