Human Services - Assistant/Associate Professor (Tenure Track - 3 Openings)

The individuals selected for the three Human Services Assistant/Associate professor positions will be responsible for teaching two 3-credit Human Services program courses each fall and spring semester. Additionally, she or he will be involved in advising students; engaging in scholarship and external funding activities; providing leadership and service in the program; and participating in community and professional service at the state, regional, and/or national levels.

Minimum Qualifications - knowledge, skills, and abilities
- evidence of scholarship (e.g., articles in peer reviewed journals)

Minimum Qualifications - Education or training
- must have earned a doctorate in a human services-related field by August 31, 2018
and
- university teaching or co-teaching experience

Minimum Qualifications - Special licenses, registration or certification

Preferred Qualifications
• a human services professional identity
• professional experience in the field of Addictions (position 1A), Trauma (position 2T), or Rehabilitation (position 3R)
• teaching experience with undergraduates
• experience developing and teaching or co-teaching online courses
• success securing external funding for research and program development
• expertise in research methodology
• a demonstrated commitment to diversity
• participation in program governance and decision-making
• potential for professional leadership at the national level
• entrepreneurial experience
