Open-rank, Tenure Track in Computer Science (2)

Bucknell University seeks applications for two open-rank tenure-track positions in computer science beginning in August 2018. Candidates with research interests in all areas of computer science will be considered, including areas conducive to interdisciplinary collaborations. The successful candidate must have a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching, developing a vibrant research program that involves talented undergraduates, and an equally strong commitment to diversity and inclusion. Candidates are expected to teach one or more courses in programming language design, theory of computation, algorithms, or software engineering in addition to participating in the teaching of core courses and developing elective courses. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or be ABD in computer science or a closely related field by August 2018.

Bucknell University is a private, highly selective, national university where strong liberal arts and professional programs in engineering, business, education, and music complement each other.
