Visiting Assistant Professors in Decision Sciences

The Robert B. Willumstad School of Business at Adelphi University invites applications for a one year teaching appointment starting Spring, 2018.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses in Decision Sciences (e.g., Operation management, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Data Analytics etc.). The normal teaching load is 3 courses (9 credits) a semester. In addition to teaching, the faculty member is expected to contribute to the school through service.
Teaching assignments may occur on the main campus in Garden City, Long Island, New York, or at off-campus sites in Manhattan (New York City), or other locations on Long Island. Courses are offered during the day, evenings, and on Saturdays.

Qualifications:

A Ph.D/DBA in operations management, supply chain management, decision sciences or related subject from an accredited program; active ABD candidates will be considered.
Teaching experience at the university level in operations management/supply chain management/information systems/decision sciences or related courses: evidence of effective teaching is required
A record of scholarship as evidenced by publications and conference presentations
As an institution accredited by AACSB, the requirements of being either Scholarly Academic or Practice Academic must be met.
Rank is assistant or associate, subject to qualifications and experience. Salary is competitive.
