Communication Disorders - Assistant Professor

Assistant Professor in Communication Sciences and Disorders (10-month tenure track, summer teaching available) to start in Fall 2019. Candidates with expertise in autism, early intervention, multicultural issues, or articulation/phonological disorders are encouraged to apply.

Minimum Qualifications - knowledge, skills, and abilities
Doctoral education in Speech-Language Pathology or related discipline

Minimum Qualifications - Education or training
Earned doctorate in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related discipline ( ABD considered if degree completed by start of employment).

Minimum Qualifications - Special licenses, registration or certification
Must hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Preferred Qualifications
A successful candidate will have potential for or demonstrated record of scholarly research and publication, grant proposal writing, university-level teaching, and involvement in professional service activities. Candidates who have clinical experience and/or a commitment to working in multicultural settings are preferred along with strong verbal, written, and technology skills.
