Summary of Position Teach undergraduate courses in Quality Operations Management in a face-to-face setting and mixed delivery format on the Big Rapids and Grand Rapids campuses. Candidates must be able to demonstrate teaching excellence. The College of Business is dedicated to providing a learning experience for its students that instills knowledge, competencies, and skills for entry level positions and job advancement in their chosen careers. To facilitate this, faculty are expected to be student oriented and able to integrate current technology into the learning environment. Office hours are required; one office hour per week for each course taught. This is a pooled position. One or more applicants may be hired as needed to teach classes on a semester-by-semester basis.

Required Qualifications

Required Education MBA or a Master's degree in related field.

Required Work Experience Four years of significant and relevant business/industry experience in operations.
Teaching experience in operations.
Must know lean including six sigma.

Required Licenses and Certifications

Additional Education/Experiences to be Considered

Additional Education/Experiences to be Considered Ph.D.
Three years of teaching experience in undergraduate operations management courses.
Five years of operations management work experience.
