This tenure-track faculty position will oversee clinical practicum coursework and serve as the leader in the development of clinical education for the professional post-baccalaureate Athletic Training Program. Additionally, this individual will assist with the teach out plan for the post-professional athletic training program.

Minimum Qualifications - knowledge, skills, and abilities
Evidence of a research agenda; Previous clinical practice as an athletic trainer.

Minimum Qualifications - Education or training
Earned research doctorate in a health related discipline.

Minimum Qualifications - Special licenses, registration or certification
Certification and good standing with the Board of Certification as an Athletic Trainer.
Licensed or eligible for licensure as an athletic trainer in the State of Virginia.

Preferred Qualifications
a) previous full-time academic appointment with teaching responsibilities at the post-secondary level; b) familiarity and experience with the CAATE Standards and accreditation process; and c) involvement with and management of clinical education experiences.
