Job Description
The Office Manager provides administrative and operational support for the Lucas Center for Faculty Development. Maintains the department budget, assists with planning training, workshops, events, and collects program data to track metrics on program utilization.

Required Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent.
Five years of administrative support experience providing budget management, maintaining calendars, and providing excellent customer service.
Experience operating personal computers with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access and Outlook) software.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization.
Experience with event planning and coordination.
Experience with data collection, database management, and data analysis.
Experience using Publisher, Canvas, and Banner software.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of general office procedures.
Knowledge of or ability to learn Publisher, Canvas, and Banner software.
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and an ability to prioritize and complete simultaneous projects to meet deadlines.
Ability to interact in a professional manner with a diverse group of staff, faculty, students, and the community in a service-oriented environment.
Ability to collect, analyze, organize and present information in a meaningful manner.
Ability to create and maintain spreadsheets, documents, and databases using MS Office Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access.

Salary Range
$16.48 hourly ($34,400 Annually)

Job Duties

Essential Job Duties
• Provides administrative and operational support to the Lucas Center for Faculty Development. Greets visitors, receives and responds to department inquiries, and maintains appointment calendars and department event calendars. Processes travel authorization requests and travel reimbursements and maintains inventory of supplies and fixed assets.
• Assists the Director with planning and coordination of meetings, training, workshops, and events such as New Faculty Orientation. Designs flyers and assists with marketing. Maintains the Lucas Center calendar of events. Reserves training rooms and prepares program materials. and handles registration for all events.
• Oversees the registration of all Lucas Center training, workshops, and events to ensure accuracy.
• Maintains department budgets including monitors expenditures, researches purchase options, prepares purchase requisitions and invoices, and reconciles purchasing card expenditures.
• Builds and maintains relational database for tracking metrics for the purpose of assessment of effectiveness of Lucas Center Programs. Assists the Director with analysis and preparation of reports.
• Uses Lecture Capture recording and Adobe Connect webinar software. Edits and maintains video and audio recordings in Kaltura. Transcribes recordings for qualitative data analysis.
• Maintains the Lucas Center website and social media accounts.
• Researches websites, articles, and/or materials to support professional development activities and research initiatives. Assists with literature reviews for articles.
