Brief Summary:
The Coordinator for Outreach, Marketing, and Communications is responsible for the development and implementation of a marketing strategy for the Career Center. The Coordinator will collaborate with the Career center team and other internal and external Marist constituents to design and monitor a brand, image, and identity for the Career Center. The position will hire and train social media students to promote the brand and emphasize the importance of career development to all students, alumni, and the broader Marist community.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage all marketing communications for the department and create promotional materials for internal and external constituents that include publications, multimedia, and web resources and products.
- Review and edit mass communications to employers and students.
- Oversee Marketing and Social Media interns.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, vendors, and employers at the direction of the Executive Director.
- Report employer compliance concerns.
- Serve as the department liaison to selected schools and/or campus programs.
- Assist with fundraising and grant proposals.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong technical skills including multiple social media platforms.
