Spa Lab Esthetician/Cosmetologist/Nail Technician (Part Time)
Job Description
The Spa Lab Esthetician/Cosmetologist/Nail Technician will provide facials, waxing, dermaplaning, nail, hand, and foot treatments; assist in the operation of the spa lab, including work station and general area cleaning, laundry, retail selling, and etc.; as well as other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Current Florida State Cosmetology license and/or Esthetician license. Nail Technician license a plus.
- Experience providing Esthetician/Cosmetology services.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two years of experience practicing skin and nail services.
- Dual license a plus.
Salary Range
$10.00 - $15.00 per hour (depending on experience), plus gratuities

Essential Job Duties
- Administers professional skin care and nail care services.
- Assists in the operation of the spa lab, including work station and general area cleaning, laundry, retail selling, etc.
- Attends staff meetings and appropriate training sessions.
Other Duties
- Other duties as assigned.

- Work hours vary by semester - up to 8 hours per day. You do not have to be available for all operating hours to apply.
- Spa Lab hours will vary: (e.g. Fall 2017 Wednesday, Thursday, Noon to 8 PM; Friday Noon to 7 PM).
- Nine month position. Approximately 14 weeks in each fall and spring semester, observing university holidays and breaks.
- The Spa Lab is supervised by FGCU Resort and Hospitality Management faculty and is student managed.
- As a temporary employee, you may not be eligible to participate in all employee benefit programs (e.g., paid leave, retirement, or tuition reimbursement).
