Position Description:

University of Northern Iowa's College of Business Administration seeks applicants for a renewable term Instructor position in the Department of Accounting to begin in August 2018. Applicants with teaching interests in all areas of accounting will be considered. Individuals with an interest in taxation are encouraged to apply. Applicants who are seeking a balance of teaching/research responsibilities will find a collegial work environment at UNI.

Education Requirements:

MBA or Master of Accounting from an AACSB accredited institution or JD from an ABA accredited institution with experience in taxation required.

Required Qualifications:

Required qualifications include strong teaching record or evidence of teaching potential and evidence of strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable Qualifications:

Preference will be given to applicants with professional certification; work experience in accounting; evidence of ability to create an engaged and applied classroom environment; and evidence of ability to advance the academic, professional and personal success of students.
