Position Summary:
Responsible for food production timeliness, quality, and sanitation and safety. Duties include assisting in the production, service and presentation of all restaurant and banquet events as directed by supervisors. Other duties include assisting with setting up and servicing of buffets and contributing to food cost management per budgetary guidelines.

Required Qualifications:
- Previous culinary experience and experience in large quantity food production
- Knowledge of food products, standard recipes, and proper preparation
- Knowledge of plating instruction
- Familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment
- Knowledge of food sanitation practices
- Ability to work in an environment with extreme temperature ranges
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to safely move and handle up to 60 pounds
- Must be available to work early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous food service experience in hotel/restaurant environment
- Sanitation certification.
