Brief Summary:

This position will assist the Director of Student Athlete Enhancement in offering a comprehensive academic support program for student athletes that focuses on overall student athlete development, including life skills. Travel is required during basketball season, November through March.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor progress toward graduation and NCAA eligibility of basketball student-athletes by providing academic support services
• Regularly communicate with head and assistant basketball coaches regarding student progress and needs
• Provide life skills programming in the areas of personal enhancement, character development, career readiness, and leadership development
• Monitor team study hall on campus and on overnight road trips as necessary
• Coordinate summer bridge program for incoming freshmen basketball student-athletes
• Participate in on-campus recruiting activities with prospective basketball student-athletes and their families
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred.
• Three to five years of relevant experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience using Banner required.
• Must be able to work effectively as a team player.
