Summary of Position Teach undergraduate courses in Business Law, Legal Studies, Hospitality Law, Insurance Law and Public Relations Law in a face-to-face setting with a willingness to teach on-line and in a mixed delivery format. Candidates must be able to demonstrate teaching excellence. The College of Business is dedicated to providing a learning experience for its students that instills knowledge, competencies, and skills for entry level positions and job advancement in their chosen careers. To facilitate this, faculty are expected to be student oriented and able to integrate current technology into the learning environment. Additionally, faculty will participate in collaborative efforts to foster course enhancement, teaching effectiveness, and assessment of student learning. Office hours are required; one office hour per week for each course taught.

Required Qualifications
Required Education Juris Doctorate
Required Work Experience Four years of legal practice experience and teaching experience in law.
Required Licenses and Certifications Must have an active license to practice law.
Additional Education/Experiences to be Considered
Additional Education/Experiences to be Considered Member of the Michigan Bar Association. Three years of teaching experience in undergraduate law courses. Five years of legal practice experience. Excellent interpersonal skills along with strong communication skills.
