Summary of Position Teach undergraduate lean courses in multiple delivery methods that may include face-to-face, on-line, and a hybrid/mixed delivery format. Candidates must be able to demonstrate a high level of teaching/training effectiveness. The College of Business is dedicated to providing a learning experience for its students that instills knowledge, competencies, and skills for entry level positions and job advancement in their chosen careers. To facilitate this, faculty are expected to be student oriented and able to integrate current technology into the learning environment. Office hours are required, one office hour per week for each course taught.

Required Qualifications

Required Education Master's degree from an accredited institution in a business related field or a Master's in Business Administration ( MBA ).

Required Work Experience Minimum of five years of lean systems experience in the manufacturing or service related industry as a coach, trainer, and/or continuous improvement leader. Specifically, experience should consist of training/coaching, leading and implementing projects in lean systems essentials, logistics and supply management and six sigma.

Required Licenses and Certifications Lean Systems professional designation/certification (e.g., SME Bronze, Silver, Gold and/or Six Sigma Black belt).

Additional Education/Experiences to be Considered

Additional Education/Experiences to be Considered Candidates should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ph.D. from an accredited institution. Final candidate(s) will be required to furnish official college transcripts and evidence of any relevant industry credentials and licensure.
To enhance the relevance and currency of the instruction, current practitioners are preferred.
