FINANCE: ASST/ASSOC PROFESSOR OF BUSINESS LAW

Central Connecticut State University invites applications for a full-time, one year non-tenure-track position in Business Law at the Assistant/Associate Professor level to begin in the Fall of 2017.  The successful candidate will teach undergraduate Business Law courses and contribute actively and effectively to student growth, service, and scholarship.  Candidates are expected to be committed to multiculturalism and working with a diverse student body.  The teaching load is four sections per semester.

Required Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate or a terminal degree in a related business field with at least 18 graduate semester hours in law

  • Five (5) years related corporate/business work experience

  • Demonstrated excellence in field

  • Commitment to serving culturally, ethnically and linguistically diverse communities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Teaching experience at University or university level

  • Have an ability to use technology effectively in teaching and learning

  • Ability to produce research and publish in discipline-related areas
