Position Summary:
The Department of English at Virginia Tech invites applications for an Instructor position in first-year writing. Full-time instructors teach four courses per semester. Instructors are expected to participate in the department's faculty development activities and to embrace the goals and methods of multi-section courses. The appointment is for one academic year.

Required Qualifications:
A Master's degree in English with a concentration in writing or extensive experience in writing instruction. Experience with diverse student populations.
