Bell Attendant

Position Summary:
The Bell Attendant will actively attempt to assist all guests in a friendly and courteous manner with luggage, transportation requests, and general information about the hotel and surrounding area. In addition, bell staff will greet all guests, maintain luggage carts, maintain refreshment station, and keep an organized and clean closet and bell stand. You are responsible for immediately resolving guest issues and making decisions to improve guest relations.

Required Qualifications:
Previous experience in a customer service environment. Valid Virginia driver's license with good driving record. Must be available to work a flexible schedule to include early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays. Ability to transport, handle and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs. (Note: Loading and unloading luggage out of vans, busses, etc., and delivery to and from guest rooms). Ability to multi-task and assist customers under pressure situations.

Preferred Qualifications:
Hotel experience, previous shuttle driver experience.
