POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE, Center for Transportation & Logistics (CTL), to assist in research on financial implications of investments in supply chains and supply chain performance, with specific focus on quantifying the benefits of investments in capabilities such as resilience. Will also assist with the development of course material (supply chain financial analysis, supply chain resilience), support CTL initiatives, and interact with CTL partner companies and research sponsors; support other research and educational activities; and publish in top international journals. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to MIT CTL's extensive online coursework.

Job Requirements
REQUIRED: a Ph.D. in supply chain management, transportation, logistics, operations management, information systems, engineering, economics, business, finance, or a related discipline; and in-depth knowledge of supply chain resilience and corporate finance. Must have in-depth knowledge of at least one of following areas: supply chain analytics, supply chain strategy, supply chain technologies, supply chain risk management, or logistics. Evidence of the ability to develop and deliver lectures and class material at the graduate level (both master's and doctoral) is expected. Familiarity with statistical software and analytics tools to analyze big data is preferred, as is experience with industry. Preference will be given to those with both methodological and practical work experience. Job #14745
