Hiring Range: $7.69 - $10.00 Per Hour

DESCRIPTION:

Paul D. Camp Workforce Center is seeking Event Specialists who will be responsible for room set-up/clean-up, monitoring special events and facility rental activities and ensuring the guests have an enjoyable experience while maintaining the integrity of the Regional Workforce Development Center and delivering excellent customer service. Other duties as assigned.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent job-related experience.
  • Event management, customer service, hospitality service, building maintenance, or a combination preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends and some holidays.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Excellent customer service experience.
  • Responsible for opening and securing the facility for the event.
  • Maintain a professional appearance.
  • Ability to lift approximately 20-50 lbs. and complete a room setup of tables and chairs.
  • Basic computer knowledge to access email and electronic time sheet
