Title: Assistant Director, Alumni Relations (Student and Young Alumni Engagement)

Job Summary: Reporting to the Director of Alumni Relations, this individual will strategically coordinate ways to cultivate and maintain relationships with GOLD (Graduates of the Last Decade), while partnering across campus to foster the connection of students to alumni as well as meet the overall needs of alumni relations through programs and activities.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively build relationships with GOLD (Graduates of the Last Decade) alumni identifying ways to engage them back to alma mater
- In partnership with alumni leadership develop a GOLD program designed to provide a variety of engagement opportunities for recent alumni to connect with the university
- Collaborate with Annual Campaigns to identify ways to increase giving participation among young alumni
- Serve as liaison with student organizations and student affairs to enhance the exposure of alumni relations to the current student body
- Identify student and alumni engagement program opportunities
- Manage a portfolio of alumni for strategic outreach and engagement
- Record contact reports of meaningful interactions with alumni
- Create a Future Alumni Association to develop engagement between students and advancement efforts
- Partner with Annual Campaigns concerning fund raising efforts and alumni communication for respective constituent school/groups
- Other duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's/advanced degrees preferred
- 2-3 years of advancement or relevant experience required
- Possess stellar communication skills both verbally and in written form
- Ability to speak publicly at events and /or make presentations
- Outgoing and personable
- Availability to work nights and weekends
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Extremely organized
- Able to be self-motivated and creative.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook/email programs
