SENIOR RESEARCH SCIENTIST, APPLIED GEOPHYSICS, Earth, Atmospheric and Planetary Sciences (EAPS)-Earth Resources Laboratory (ERL), to join a laboratory whose activities are centered around theoretical, experimental, and observational research in basic science, with both industrial and academic applications. ERL has over sixty personnel, including faculty, research scientists, postdoctoral fellows, and Ph.D.- and master's-level graduate students. In addition, visiting faculty and researchers from universities and industry frequently participate in ERL research and educational activities. Will be expected to build a strong research program in applied geophysics, maintain and further develop relationships with industry, and interact with visitors from U.S. and foreign industry partners. The position also includes student advising and classroom teaching responsibilities.

Job Requirements
REQUIRED : a Ph.D. in the earth sciences or related field. Must have a strong record of publications and presentations at scientific meetings, in addition to an impact on the international research community. Good interpersonal skills and willingness to travel are also required. Job #14698
