Nursing Skills Laboratory Instructor



Function:
Adjunct teaching faculty provide instruction aligned with the college's strategic goals and evaluate students' progress to facilitate achievement of their educational goals.

Essential Responsibilities:
1. Designated as a resource person to students in the nursing skills laboratory.
2. Provide practice areas for students to prepare for the performance of nursing skills.
3. Assist students to achieve proficiency in performance of nursing skills.
4. Evaluate student's performance of nursing skills through on campus validations and simulations.
5. Orders supplies and equipment necessary for student's needs.

Required Qualifications:
1. A master's degree in the discipline or in a related discipline with at least 15 graduate hours in the discipline
2. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Illinois.
3. A minimum of two years of current experience in clinical nursing practice.
