Hiring Range: $7.69 - $11.00 per hour

DESCRIPTION:

Paul D. Camp Community College is seeking a motivated Building and Grounds Worker to perform grounds and lawn care to include, but not limited to, daily policing of grounds for trash and hazardous conditions, mowing and trimming, weeding and mulching flower beds. During inclement weather, removes snow from sidewalks and parking lots. Performs other duties to include, but not limited to, painting, general maintenance repairs and upkeep, light housekeeping, event set-ups and take-downs, and other duties as directed by the Building Maintenance Supervisor.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be a self-starter and possess a valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to travel to and work at all campus locations.
  • General grounds and facilities maintenance experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Extensive events set up, maintenance, and general housekeeping experience.
