SENIOR RESEARCH SUPPORT ASSOCIATE, Political Science, to coordinate the class and research-related needs of four professors. Responsibilities will include assisting with research by locating information, proofreading work, performing data analysis, and preparing tables for papers that are in the process of publication; assisting with the fielding of experiments and surveys; and performing general administrative duties including preparing and transmitting correspondence for recommendations and other related mailings, making travel arrangements and processing expenses, assisting with class preparation, and other miscellaneous tasks.

This is an ideal position for someone interested in gaining research experience in political science.

Job Requirements
REQUIRED: thorough knowledge of social science research and data collection methods (qualitative and quantitative). A degree in political science or a related social or policy science discipline is desired. Strong statistical analysis (Stata or R) and data management (spreadsheets and databases) skills would be beneficial. Job #14600-5

This is a one-year position with the possibility of extension to two years. The anticipated start date is June 1, 2017.

A writing sample and three letters of recommendation will be needed at the time of interview.
