Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor and Director of Clinical Training

Medaille College in Buffalo, NY is seeking applicants for a Clinical Assistant Professor and full-time Director of Clinical Training (DOCT) for the Department of Graduate Counseling and Psychology, beginning July 1, 2017.  This 12-month faculty position includes overseeing training in the Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology.  The candidate will be responsible for developing and overseeing clinical practicum and internship placements and providing program leadership in training issues.  The candidate will have an appointment as Clinical Faculty at the rank of Assistant or above.

Applicants must have a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from an APA-accredited program and be licensed or license eligible in New York State.  Successful applicants will have administrative experience, graduate level teaching and clinical supervision, preferably in a program based on the practitioner-scholar model, and a strong record of clinical experience.  Interest and experience in psychological assessment, psychodynamic psychotherapy, diversity, and/or clinical child psychology are preferred.
