Head Athletic Trainer for Football

This position will be responsible for the instruction, supervision, and administration of treatments and rehabilitation programs for ODU football student-athletes.

Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in related field or a bachelor's with training and experience equivalent to an advanced degree. Graduate of CAHEP or CAATE undergraduate training program or NATA approved graduate program. Several years of Division I intercollegiate athletic training experience or related experience as a football athletic trainer. Current NATA - BOC certification. Current American Red Cross or American Heart Association CPR / AED Professional Rescue certification. Demonstrated skill specializing in the care and prevention of injuries and conditions occurring to student-athletes. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Several years of Division I Football Bowl Subdivision ( FBS ) or Football Championship Subdivision ( FCS ) experience as a head athletic trainer for football.
