$8,055.44 [step 1] $9,810.49 [step 5]. A maximum placement of step 5 is negotiable dependent upon education and experience. Administrators that possess earned doctorates from accredited institutions are awarded an annual stipend of $1,370.76.

Job Duties:
Responsible for providing leadership, planning, and evaluation of the Health Services department, including administering the program as a non-profit center; developing and administering budgets; developing and implementing policies and procedures; and providing advanced nursing care and follow-up when necessary. Maintains liaisons with health-related partners and health care facilities.
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience: Five years of clinical nursing experience, including two years of management or supervisory experience.
NOTE:
o For work experience, a year is defined as equivalent to 40 hours per week for 12 months.
Education: Must meet one of the following sets of qualifications under a) b) below:
a) A masters in nursing and a California Public Health Nurse Certificate.
b) A masters degree in health education, sociology, psychology, counseling, health care administration, public health, or community health and a bachelors degree in nursing and a California Public Health Nurse certificate.
Only coursework completed at, and degrees awarded by, accredited institutions recognized by the U.S. Department of Education will be considered as satisfying the minimum qualifications. Coursework and degrees that are completed outside of the United States are required to have transcripts evaluated (evaluation to U.S. equivalency and a course by course analysis) by an appropriate U.S. credentials evaluation service.
