Brief Summary:
The Marist College Department of Computing Technology currently seeks applications for a
non-tenure track, term faculty position in Information Technology & Systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
We welcome candidates who have the following teaching and professional interests: systems
analysis and design, computer networks and cloud infrastructure, data management and
information security, and management information systems. Applicants with the ability to
teach in multiple areas across several disciplines will receive preference. Applicants must be
willing to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in both traditional on-ground and on-line
environments. Required duties outside the classroom include professional development
activities as well as engagement in college and professional services such as advising and
mentoring students and serving on department, school, or college committees.
Qualifications:
Candidates must have a Master's degree or higher in Information Systems, Computer Science,
or a closely related field. Evidence of excellence in teaching and scholarly work is required.
Excellent written and oral communication skills are required. Industry and/or consulting
experience is highly desirable. As our programs host a diverse population, the proven ability
to work effectively in a multicultural environment is highly regarded.
