Reports to: Master of Occupation Therapy Programs Director in St Augustine, Fa
Department: Entry-level MOT Programs, St Augustine, FA
Job Classification: Exempt
Job Functions: To support the MOT Program Director with administrative leadership for aspects of program operation.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists program director in the following activities:
  1. Implement strategies to achieve goals, both locally and across MOT professional programs that are consistent with the goals and policies of the University
  2. Collect, prepare and furnish outcome data and relevant information about the Occupational Therapy Program as required by the University
  3. Participate, as requested, in Program Director Council to contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures
  4. Oversee and evaluate contributing faculty in areas related to the professional program
  5. Supervise students of the Occupational Therapy Program by dealing with student issues such as complaints, appeals, and misconduct.
  6. Teaching to equal .5 FTE workload
  7. Service and scholarly activities
  8. Participate in marketing activities and other activities as a representative of the University
  9. Other duties as assigned by the program director

QUALIFICATIONS (COMPETENCIES)
  1. Demonstrates excellent communication, time management and organizational skills to faculty, students, outside constituents
  2. Is able to work independently with numerous projects/tasks with little or no supervision.
  3. Is able to work in a team environment and promote collaboration
  4. Models core values and takes an active role in enforcing University policies
  5. Demonstrates effective interactions with University support services
  6. Demonstrates the ability to manage change
  7. Has the ability to travel to off-site locations for marketing and community/professional activities

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
  1. FL licensed (or eligible) occupational therapist
  2. An advanced doctoral degree.
  3. Demonstrated leadership ability
  4. Prior entry-level occupational therapy education teaching required and graduate level education administration preferred
  5. Proven organization skills
  6. Demonstrated data analysis skills
  7. Experience with collaboration, facilitation, and team building
