Program Associate/Staff Development

Percent of Time/Week:45% Service Schedule:Calendar Year

Position Description:

Manages and supervises staff development efforts for Camp Adventure at various universities (Camp Adventure training sites); oversees recruiting and screening of program applicants; supervises summer student program; and assists with special events.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree required.

Required Qualifications:

A combination of at least two years of experience with child/youth programs and/or recruiting, screening, training and supervising student interns for child and youth services support required. Experience with database systems also required. Evening and weekend work will be necessary. Student experience will be considered.

Desirable Qualifications:

Degree in Leisure Studies, Youth Studies, Human Services Administration, Education or field related to working with youth; experience with U.S. military youth services; and experience with Macintosh OS and/or Microsoft databases preferred.
