Title: Student Workshop Facilitator
Department: College Access for All Middle School- Staten Island
Campus: Staten Island
Start Date: Feb 1, 2017- May 8, 2017
Location: Various Middle School on Staten Island (I.S. 7, I.S. 34, I.S 49, I.S 72, and I.S 75)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the WE TEACH program curriculum during regular scheduled classes in the target middle school (between 8:00 am-3:00 pm at least 3 days per week)
- Assist with the coordination and supervision of students during college visits
- Assist in data collection and analysis (including attendance sheets)
- Attend program events including educational/cultural field trips, family events, and college tours (based on availability)
- Attended weekly supervision meeting with the program director (in person or virtually)
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of undergraduate school complete
- Bachelor's Degree in related area
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with middle school disadvantaged student populations
Skills:
- Attention to detail
- Excellent verbal
- Bilingual strongly encouraged
Work Schedule
- Monday-Friday from 8:00 am-3:00 pm (Select Dates)
- Flexible (will work with student schedule)
- Start Date: Feb 1, 2017- May 8, 2017
Rate: $17.50/hr
