Adjunct, Civil Engineering

Full/Part Time Status:Part Time Service Schedule:Spring Semester

Position Description:

Responsibilities include teaching engineering properties of soil, earth-moving calculations of cut and fill; equipment characteristics, production calculations, and understanding and selection; highway materials, construction practices, and paving and surface treatment; rock excavation; and compressed air and water systems.

Education Requirements:

Master's degree in Architectural, Civil Engineering, Technology Education, Construction Management or related field required.

Required Qualifications:

Industrial/field experience in construction practices and / or university or community college teaching experience in construction management, civil engineering or related fields required.

Desirable Qualifications:

Experience with heavy or highway civil engineering or construction management projects preferred.
