Communicative Disorder Specialist

Percent of Time/Week:100% Service Schedule:Calendar Year

Position Description:

Supervises student clinicians in the on-campus Roy Eblen Speech and Hearing Clinic or at off-campus sites; teaches undergraduate courses in the Communication Sciences & Disorders department; coordinates specialty clinics; coordinates undergraduate advising; and assists in the development of off-campus sites for clinical training.

Education Requirements:

Master's degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology, or related field required.

Certifications:

CCC-SLP certification and eligibility for Iowa licensure in speech-language pathology required.

Desirable Qualifications:

At least two years of SLP experience in working with patients of varying ages preferred.
