ASSISTANT DIRECTOR FOR MEMBER RELATIONS, MIT.nano, School of Engineering, to focus on the management of major programs, stewardship of members, and membership program structures for MIT.nano, an advanced facility open to the entire MIT community of faculty, researchers, and students. MIT.nano is a single facility with complete nano capabilities which creates a nexus for collaboration and cross-disciplinary problem solving in the heart of the MIT campus. Responsibilities include management of external partners group, new partnership exploration, communications (internal and external), and program administration and delivery.

Job Requirements
REQUIRED: a Ph.D., preferably in an engineering field; seven years of related experience in business development, technological marketing, and/or industrial relations; solid experience relating to and negotiating with senior faculty and executives; excellent oral and written communication skills; and strong supervisory skills. Seek a strategic thinker with strong program management skills and a proven ability to understand, communicate, and present complex technical information to broad and diverse audiences. Familiarity with MIT is preferred. Job #14300
