Job Description
As an Assistant or Associate Professor in Health Services Administration you teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate level(s); perform scholarly activities including: conducting research, presenting research results at professional conferences, producing publications, and the pursuit of funding to support such activities; providing service to the Department, College, University, Community, and Profession; mentor students in discipline-relevant practicum/internship experiences and/or capstone projects; participate in curriculum review and development, including programmatic development and assessment activities.

Required Qualifications
Doctorate in Health Services Administration, Health Services Research, Public Health with an emphasis in Health Services Administration directly related field from a regionally-accredited institution.
Undergraduate and/or graduate-level teaching experience at a regionally-accredited institution.
Evidence of the potential to develop (or evidence of currently active) scholarly activities and intellectual production within the field of Health Services Administration as broadly-defined.
A commitment to Department, College, University, Community and Professional service. Ability to work in a collegial environment and a commitment to diversity.
ABD will be considered if degree is conferred by August 7, 2017. If successful candidate is ABD , appointment will be made at a Lecturer level on a fixed contract.

Preferred Qualifications
MPH , MSPH , or MHA degree in addition to minimum qualifications.
Evidence of teaching excellence; history of community and/or professional involvement and service.
Commitment to improving population-level health outcomes.
Ability to form relationships with local, regional, and national health-related organizations to foster student internships, practicums, and experiential learning.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Experience or commitment to the use of technology in distance learning & university teaching. Interest in collaborating both within and outside the University in the development and delivery of instruction resulting in improved student learning. Must value continued scholarship and service to the school and university

Salary Range
Competitive and commensurate with experience and rank.
