Brief Summary:
The Athletics Department at Marist College invites applications for the part-time position of Head Cheerleading Coach. Marist College is an NCAA Division I program and member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC).
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include coordinating all aspects of its Cheerleading program including, but not limited to, cheerleader recruitment, selection and performance, organizing and planning of practice sessions, attendance at all home Football and Men's and Women's Basketball contests, and ordering of supplies as necessary. This position requires an individual with knowledge and experience in teaching all facets of cheerleading including basic stunting and safety. CPR/First Aid and AACCA certifications required. This position requires some travel along with evening and weekend work.
Qualifications:
This position requires an experienced cheerleading coach with knowledge in teaching all facets of cheerleading with an emphasis on safety. This is a part-time position that reports to the Coordinator of Club Sports, Intramurals & Camps.
