Position Description:
Oversees the operations of the International Students and Scholars Office (ISSO); hires, trains, supervises, and evaluates staff in the office; ensures immigration, visa and travel safety services are provided in compliance with federal law and regulations; plans, conducts, oversees, and evaluates new international student orientations and other events and programs for the benefit of international students; ensures delivery of advising services to international students; serves as Designated School Official; and assists the Executive Director for International Programs with special projects.
Education Requirements:
Master's degree required.
Required Qualifications:
At least two years of budget management, advising, and international experience required. U.S. citizenship or permanent residency also required.
Desirable Qualifications:
Strong organizational skills, ability to work in teams and independently, and working knowledge of MS Office and SEVIS preferred. Experience in an instructional role, supervisory experience, marketing and outreach experience, and ability to fluently speak a foreign language also preferred.
